CBS Builders was appointed as the Head Remediation Contractor for the flammable cladding replacement works. The scope involved the removal and recycling of approximately 200m² of combustible cladding from a residential tower and its adjacent lift shaft. A fully compliant replacement façade system was then installed, including new cladding, sarking, framing, and insulation. Remedial waterproofing works was completed to a suspended parapet, with the supply and installation of a Supremo PVC sheet membrane system. The project was carried out using a combination of knuckle booms and scaffolding to ensure safety and efficiency. To enhance the building’s appearance, sleek HVG MondoClad panelling was installed, transforming the façade with a striking two-tone design. The works were completed ahead of schedule.
