The façade transformation carried out in four carefully planned stages using scaffolding, specifically designed to accommodate the building’s unique structural profile. CBS Builders was appointed as the Head Remediation Contractor for the cladding replacement works. The new design will feature elegant Vitrapanel Copper Brown pre-finished panels and sleek Aodeli Anodised Satin Brown aluminium window reveals. The scope involves the removal and recycling of approximately 1,900m² of existing cladding from two residential towers. A fully compliant replacement façade system is currently being installed, including new cladding, sarking, framing, and insulation. The project also includes new balustrade framing which will be seamlessly integrated into the façade cladding system, providing structural compliance. The installation of a steel purlin system to support large spans of new cladding to planter boxes and blade walls will be installed; an innovative feature that sets this cladding project apart from others.
