Several high-rise buildings in Lidcombe are undergoing major remedial works that require intricate planning and execution. The project involves carrying out works on fully occupied apartments to meet compliance requirements under the Design Builders Practitioners Act. The remediation works primarily focus on internal bathrooms, balconies, and structural elements. Additionally, the existing landscape planter boxes will be removed to detach the existing membrane and reapply. Scaffold installation will be carried out to remediate non-compliant façade cladding, and correction works will be done on existing basement structures, including control joints, crack injection, and fire rating to services penetrations.
