This major remediation project restored the structural integrity and heritage character of the historic Biscuit Factory in Camperdown. Works included extensive façade repointing, concrete spalling repairs, structural steel remediation and full replacement of combustible cladding with a compliant façade system. Significant upgrades were completed across planter boxes, terraces, the rooftop pool and internal waterproofing systems. A total of 75 balconies and courtyards underwent complex membrane rectification to resolve long-term water ingress issues. Delivered within a fully occupied complex, the project required careful access coordination and staged sequencing. The result is a revitalised, durable building envelope that respects the site’s industrial heritage.
